Coach Ensrud is the head coach at Canby High School. As one of the most successful wrestlers to come out of Oregon, Ensrud is a true example for kids showing that success in athletics and academics go hand in hand. Earning the title of Oregon's 6A Coach of the Year in 2008, Ensrud has proven his success at both the college and high school levels. With Ensrud at the helm, Canby High School has seen an immediate impact, bringing home team trophies in his first three consecutive years. 
Before tackling the role of head coach at Canby, Coach Ensrud was a Division I college coach (University of Oregon) for 8 years. While coaching in the college ranks Ensrud led several wrestlers to All-American status, and one to an NCAA National Title.
At the University of Oregon Ensrud compiled 106 wins, was a two-time Pac-10 champion, placed 3rd and 4th in the NCAA tournament, and was a two-time University National Champion. After college Ensrud competed at the national and international levels earning All-American status at the U.S. Open Nationals four times, and earning medals at 4 international competitions including the Henri De Glane Challenge (3rd), Ziolkowski International (3rd), Dave Schultz International (2nd & 4th). Coach Ensrud was an Oregon High School State Champion in 1993. At Oregon Ensrud earned a Bachelors degree in biology, and an M.A.Ed.
